Biography
Louise Stomps was born in Berlin in 1900. Her real artistic career began rather late, after marriage, the birth of two daughters and her divorce in
1927.
In 1928 she became a member of the "Association of Berlin Women Artists", attended the sculpture class held by Milly Steger and the evening class of Johannes Röttger at the former Prussian Academy of Arts in Berlin-Charlottenburg, today the University of Arts.
